Girl Scout Troop #5080 participated in World Thinking Day with other troops from Mason last week at the James P. Eckert Civic Center. Their chosen country was Greece, and the girls demonstrated a native dance to the other troops who participated including D’Ann Stahl’s Daisy Troop who performed “London Bridge is Falling Down”, Julie Gillespie’s Brownie Troop leading in “The Macarena” and Suzanne Bjork's Cadette Troop who taught the popular “Cupid Shuffle.”

World Thinking Day celebrates Girl Scouts around the world and is always a lot of fun for everyone and a great reason to throw a fun ice cream social while learning about Girl Scouting around the world.

On a side note, Tina Hoffman’s Junior girls have set a goal to sell 3,300 boxes of cookies this year and are only 478 boxes away from that very aggressive number! Please stop by and see Tina at the RE/MAX BELIEVE office or call 347-6610 for special delivery. This is the last week to purchase cookies and there is EVERY variety still available at her office! Remember, they freeze well and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
