Habitat Spring Fundraiser Auction Plans Being Finalized
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 • Posted March 11, 2009

Contributions are now being accepted for the Live and Silent Auctions for the 7th annual Spring Benefit for Mason County Habitat for Humanity to be held Saturday, May 16th.

The annual Spring Benefit is the major fundraiser for the local affiliate and the money raised from the event and auctions continues the program of providing decent, affordable homes in the local community for deserving families in need. These homes are built WITH these partner families, as the families provide hundreds of hours of sweat equity as part of their investment, working diligently towards their dream of homeownership!

Auction items at past events have been of a great variety, appropriate to suit all tastes and lifestyles and have been very well received! From original framed and sculptural art, to hand crafted fine jewelry and silver adorned apparel. From San Antonio Spurs box seats and golf & tennis packages, to computer instruction and maintenance. From heirloom quality needlework and services to delectable gift baskets and gourmet dinners for 12, these prepared and served in grand style by local personalities!

The possiblities are endless and all those wishing to contribute their artwork, edibles, fine crafts or unique talents and services are asked to contact Auction Chairs K.K. and George Brannies at 325-347-5913 or the local Habitat office at 325-347-9591.
