Wednesday, March 18, 2009 • Posted March 18, 2009

It does not get any better than this folks! Saturday March 21 at 2:00 the Mason High School Varsity team will be hosting the Mason High School Alumni in the Annual Alumni Game and Fund Raiser at the High School Baseball field.

This always has been and always will be a battle for bragging rights. The Varsity Punchers have been working very hard this season with great results. They are 1 and 0 so far in district and are looking forward to a tough game against the previous hard working Punchers.

This game is a big fund raiser for improvements at the High School Baseball field. Lunch will be served at 2:00 with Teddy Ray Doyle’s famous brisket and all the trimmings. Raffle tickets will be sold at the game, as well as, from various people around town.

We are very fortunate this year to have tickets donated from ROUND ROCK EXPRESS baseball team and the SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS baseball team. Becky Adams and Jennifer Zavala have been kind enough to donate two scrumptious cakes for the raffle. Our local merchants have also come through for us again with many items gift certificates and merchandise.

With the money raised from last year’s events, a high powered water hose and two tarps were purchased and a concrete floor in the batting tunnel was completed. The coaches are hoping for great things from the players and would like to be able to upgrade the facility where they play.

For further information or to get raffle tickets if you will be unable to attend, or to make any kind of donation, please call Melody Trip 347-7013, Joe Langehennig 347-2954, or Bo Brown 347-5957. Please join us for a great afternoon of Puncher Baseball!
