Angelo State University (ASU), member of the Texas Tech University System (TTU), will sponsor an information session on Tuesday, March 24th at 6:00 p.m. at the TTU classroom at 102 E. San Antonio St., Fredericksburg, TX.  Program advisors will present information and answer questions on three graduate education programs they will offer in Fredericksburg and Marble Falls.

ASU currently offers a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling degree for teachers interested in becoming public school counselors.   Students may also take the additional courses needed to satisfy the academic requirements for Licensed Professional Counselor.

ASU also offers the Master of Education in Student Development & Leadership in Higher Education.  This program prepares students for nonacademic leadership positions, such as in career services, enrollment management, residence life, and financial aide on college campuses,

The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction provides the student with critical knowledge to connect scholarship, research and professional practice to teach a diverse student population.  Additionally a student with a non-teaching bachelor degree can earn certification to be a Texas secondary school classroom teacher. A two-week summer session is required in San Angelo.
