Texas Topaz

Thursday, March 26 is the 40th anniversary of the Texas Legislature designating topaz as the state gem. Diane Eames of Gems of the Hill Country invites everyone to help them celebrate in Mason, home of the Texas topaz. They are celebrating on the north side of the Mason square at Gems of the Hill Country, 126 Ft. McKavitt. Stop by and see topaz in it’s many forms, as well as demonstrations of gem faceting. See the largest topaz found in North America at the Museum on the Square.
