Louise Katherine Garman, 69, of Mason, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. She was born in Chicago, IL, on November 20, 1939, to Rudolph Albert Eller and Emilie Gruber Eller, both natives of Chicago, IL.

She was married to John Bernard Garman on December 21, 1971, and lived in Leaf River, IL, and El Paso, TX, before retiring to Ft. Davis, TX. She was a resident of Mason since summer of 2007.

Her passions were her children, the love of God’s word and studied the Bible in her desire to glorify Jesus Christ. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life and her wisdom and caring attitude, combined with wonderful times and memories will always be the hallmark for those who knew and loved her. She was a caring and compassionate volunteer in all the churches where she worshipped . She also enjoyed her work in many children’s ministries throughout her life. Her “Cell-abrations Ministry” introduced Jesus Christ and His glory and hope to prison inmates throughout Texas.

She is survived by one son, Richard B. McNemee, Jr. of San Antonio, four daughters, Nancy L. McNemee of Boerne, Lynda K. Haynes of Mason, Connie L. Farrell of Charlotte, NC, and Rebecca A. Adams of Mason. She also leaves behind two brothers, Clayton R. Eller of Ft. Davis and Leland H. Eller of Ft. Worth. Her grandchildren are Bodie W. Adams and Emma B. Adams, Sam R. Haynes of Mason and Katherine J. Farrell of Charlotte.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Mason on Saturday, March 28, at 2:00pm. Private interment to follow at the Gooch Cemetery.
