The Aussies Are Coming to Kerrville!
Thursday, March 26, 2009 • Posted March 26, 2009

(Kerrville) – The Kerrville Performing Arts Society will present its second special event of their 25th anniversary season…THE TEN TENORS!!! Arriving in Kerrville after a 4-month tour of Europe and the past week in South Africa, these ten world-class tenors will entertain audiences with hit songs from every musical genre.

KPAS presents special event programming when a situation arises where a major touring company has an open night in their schedule and the booking will permit a trip to Kerrville. Last season, KPAS presented Bowfire to a sell-out crowd when Bowfire’s schedule allowed them to sandwich Kerrville in between their performances in the major venues of Texas enroute to California.

THE TEN TENORS will be doing the same. With Kerrville’s Cailloux Theater (834 seats) on their schedule for Monday, April 6th, Dallas’ Meyerson Symphony Center (2,062 seats) on Tuesday night, Austin’s Long Center (2,400 seats) on Wednesday night, Houston’s Jones Hall (2,911 seats) on Thursday night, and Orange’s Lutcher Theatre (1,500 seats) on Friday night…this special KPAS event will offer a unique opportunity to have the most intimate setting with these musical superstars!

THE TEN TENORS just have fun making music! Their evening will venture through musical styles with an eclectic program drawing from the classical tenor repertoire, Neapolitan ballads and rock classics! Formed in 1995 while studying at university for careers in opera, The Ten Tenors vaulted to international attention in 2002 as the surprise guest artists at the Eurovision Grand Prix de la Chanson held in Kiel, Germany.

THE TEN TENORS are a platinum record-selling singing act bringing their interpretations to the tenor repertoire in a splashy concert. Heralded the world over, the group circles the globe ten months of the year, performing over 250 shows on five different continents around the world.

Get your tickets now for this KPAS Special Event on Monday, April 6th at 7:30pm! Tickets ($35-$45) are available by calling the Cailloux Theater Box Office at 830-896-9393 (MasterCard/VISA). For a sneak preview, visit
