Llano Fine Arts Guild Offering Oil Demonstration

On Monday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m., the Llano Art Guild is pleased to host a demonstration in oil painting by former member Pat Renick, now of Fredericksburg. Pat Renick grew up living in and loving the Texas Hill Country She and her husband, Jim,recently moved from Llano where they have been in he ranching business for many years, to Fredericksburg. They have two daughters, Deborah Compton and Carol Penn who also reside in Fredericksburg with their families.

Pat was a member of the Llano Art Guild for 25 years and spent many wonderful times at this outstanding gallery. She has studied art since the1970’s. Some of her outstanding instructors include local artist Lillian Fowler, William H. Earle, Dick Turner, Ann Templeton, Leslie Rich, Warren Culler and Guido Frick.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in art to observe, learn, and just enjoy the fellowship of others of like interests. The demonstration will begin at 10:00 at the galley at 503 Bessemer, and is to be followed by a pot luck luncheon. Donation of $5.00 will cover both the lunch and the demonstration. Llano Fine Art Guild is a non-profit organization.
