On Tuesday, March 24th, Riata members met in the parking lot of the FUMC before leaving for our out-of-town trip. Our first stop was The Peachtree in Fredericksburg, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and time to visit. Then it was on to the LBJ Ranch and driving tour of the ranch aided by a CD narrative. The tour ended at the Ranch House where we were able to go into LBJ's office which had been restored to look as is did during his presidency. The setting of the home, surrounded by beautiful old oak trees, overlooking the Pedernales River was the perfect place to end our visit. It was a very nice day.
