Errors & Omissions in Spring Guide
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 • Posted April 15, 2009

In any publication, there are going to be some errors and oversights, and our 2009 Spring Visitors' Guide is no exception.

In the article on dining, we inadvertently left out Deadwood Barbecue. Edward Velez makes some of the most taste tempting ribs I've ever had, and there were plenty of folks who noticed we had failed to mention his establishment out on Highway 87 North. Sorry about that Edward!

Speaking of dining,,, there was a file conversion problem on some of the Riata Cookbook recipes. If you try to prepare Lee McMillan's stew, you might notice that 22 pounds of boned round steak seems a bit excessive for serving six people. You might have also noticed that Doris Dannheim's chocolate cake recipe would be more likely to produce a chocolate brick if you put in three cups of cocoa! We will get those recipes corrected and in a later edition; but, for now, don't try this at home!
