The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, April 7th, for its monthly business meeting. There were 35 members and 1 visitor in attendance.

The Club voted to donate all profits from the Hamburger Lunch held on Friday April 3rd, which amounts to $1,118.19 to the PTO/Elementary Pavilion. The Lions Club was very pleased with the success of the Hamburger Lunch and being able to donate this amount to a worthy cause.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 14th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be John Copeland and the program will be on BlueBonnet C.A.S.A.

The Mason Lions Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
