The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, April 14th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 36 members and 1 visitor in attendance.

In the absence of a program, "Boss Lion" Denwood Butler recited from memory, "Casey at the Bat." He only had to stop and think one them near the end. That was our entertainment for the week.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 21, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be Dane Phillips.

The Mason Lions Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
