“The Early Bird Gets The Worm” or “First Come – First Served” are two sayings many of us have heard for years. They will also apply to those attending Friday (May 1st) night’s Gala. Friday’s Gala kick-starts this weekend’s art show and sale which is an annual event hosted by the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country.
Friday’s Gala will be located in the M~Squared Gallery located on the northeast corner of Mason’s historic square. The party will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the tickets are $10 each and are available at Mason’s Chamber of Commerce office or, at the door that evening, for the convenience of the out of town guests.
Last year’s opening night party was a huge success and FAAHC members are hard at work to provide another memorable event for you to enjoy.
Saturday’s hours for the gallery are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday’s are 12-noon to 4 p.m.; there is no admission charge for either of these two days.
The association represents artists from Kimble, Mason, Menard and McCulloch counties. Entries in the show offer items from the painted mediums, jewelry, photography and pottery.
As stated in the opening paragraph…those attending Friday night’s Gala will be the first ‘to see’ and will have the first opportunity ‘to purchase’. Come and enjoy wonderful Hill Country talent!!!
