Jatelyn Waite has been diagnosed with EPENDYMOMA, and had a large tumor removed from her brain on April 27th. Unfortunately the worst of our fears was confirmed. This is a very aggressive cancer. Jatelyn’s tumor was determined to be at STAGE 3. Jatelyn will begin radiation treatment the first week of June. The family will spend Monday thru Friday in Austin for 6 weeks.

Please help Jatelyn any way that you can. Please come enjoy a great lunch, bring a dessert or help us serve.

Meat is being donated by Mason County Jr. Livestock Show.

Benefit accounts have been set up at Mason National Bank and First State Bank. The Commercial Bank will accept donations and remit them to one of the accounts that has been established.

Mrs. B’s Bunnies – The  Pre-K class at Mason ISD, is having a bake sale on Thursday, May 14th in front of the Mason National Bank from 8:30 to 10:30 am.  The money will be used to set up an account at Weber’s Chevron to help with the fuel expense of traveling back and forth to Austin for treatments.  The students are very excited to be helping their friend and classmate.

Several of the ladies at MKM Home Health are hosting a Softball Tournament of June 27th to help the Waite Family. This is an all day event. We will be asking several of the teams from around Mason county to help us out too. If you know anyone in our community that would like to put a team together please call Gina 325-347-2187 or leave a message at 325-347-9548.
