The first S.O.S. “Save Our Summer” City Swimming Pool fundraiser was held last Friday, May 1st. The shirt & bake sale was a huge success and we appreciate all those who baked the wonderful goodies and everyone who made donations.

The new S.O.S. shirts made their debut on Friday and include the pool’s new mascot, Simon the Frog. Shirts can still be purchased at the Mason Chamber of Commerce for $15 each or two shirts for $23. The shirts are available in sizes ranging from 2-toddler up to 3XL for adults. They are specifically designed to show support for the swimming pool projects and proceeds directly benefit that cause.

Continue to watch for details about “Splash Day” and be sure to stop by the Chamber office to purchase your shirt. Even if you are not interested in owning a shirt you can show your support by making a donation or by purchasing shirts for children who enjoy the use of the pool.

The next citizen’s S.O.S. committee meeting is Thursday, May 14th at 5:00 at the Chamber of Commerce. Anyone is welcome to attend. The committee is working closely with the City of Mason to assist with the ongoing success of our community pool. Be sure to stop by the Chamber of Commerce and check out the shirts in the window!
