Mason Lions Roar

The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, May 5th 2009, for its monthly business meeting. There were 34 members and 1 visitor in attendance. Among the visitors were 0 Mason High School Seniors.

Lion Gene Gammill was responsible for the program, and the monthly business meeting. He gave the financial report and board meeting minutes.

The club's next meeting will be held, May 12th at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be John Copeland.

The Mason Lions Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
