"Down The Drain With Jane"

It’s all about the, “STUFF!” I’ve continued to try to rid myself of STUFF. However, when I weed out the unused and not wanted STUFF, I just go and get more STUFF. I make list after list of STUFF that I want or think I need. Then, when I don’t get the STUFF I want, I get upset.

Why do I have two sets of dishes, and use paper plates and bowls? Why, do I get big comforters that don’t fit in my washing machine? Why do I have chairs that I never sit in? Why do I have several sets of sheets and pillowcases, but continue to wash and put on the same set every week? Why do I buy sub-standard STUFF, when, if I’d just be patient, I would get the right STUFF?

The answer to all this STUFF, is a product of having no patience and no will power! Like big comforters that I try and stuff in the washer and only have them come out with lint and dried soap on them. Then, why fold up sheets, (the fitted bottoms never fold up like they did when you opened the package.) So, just wash’m and put’m back on. When they completely wear out, then open the other package.

Having STUFF and wanting STUFF is the downfall of my life. When I can be happy with just the bare necessities will be a blessing! But, I am going to Kyle to look after the boys while Branden and Shannon are out of town. And, yes, I’m making my list of what to get. You know, there’s a whole lot of STUFF in the South Austin area. And, I don’t even have to get on IH 35! It’s all accessible from the access roads.

P.S. The puppies are growing, and are so cute. Three weeks old and just now are forming their personalities. One’s sleepy and the other one is on the grumpy side. Of course, my list has puppy STUFF on it!
