The Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library will have an Open House at the library on Monday, June 8 beginning at 10:30. Showcased will be many new Junior Classic books purchased with a donation by the City of Mason. Refreshments will be served and a drawing for 4 free tickets to Schlitterbahn Water Park will be held. Registration for the Texas Summer Reading Program, sponsored by the Texas State Library and the Mason County Library, also starts that day. Any student may enter the Open House drawing and also sign up for the Summer reading program.

Patrons of library have requested two services which are now available - color copying and scanning. The scanning feature is good for saving a photo to a flash drive or CD. The library staff can help with any of your copying, printing, and scanning jobs. The library also has faxing capability, both incoming and outgoing.
