Six members of the Mason FFA Chapter attended the Hill District FFA Banquet on Thursday, May 14, 2009. The district banquet is designed to promote leadership through participation in public speaking and local chapter representation. Each FFA Chapter is also recognized for accomplishments during the 2008-2009 school year.
Mason High School was represented by four chapter members competing in the public speaking event and one in the talent competition. Virginia Lemke placed first in Sr. Prepared Public Speaking. Kambrey Hudson also placed first in Soil and Water Stewardship. Jacob Bibb was second in Jr. Prepared Public Speaking. Tabitha Zant placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking. Alyssa Herrera placed second in the FFA Talent Competition. Bodie Adams and Jacob Bibb were the voting delegates for Mason.
