Apple Fest... Calling All Vendors

The Mason County Apple Fest is now taking applications for the 2009 Arts & Crafts Show. Visitors from all over will enjoy contests, shows, interactive demonstrations, arts and crafts, The Miss Apple Blossom Style Show, a car show, a tractor show, live entertainment, good stuff to eat at the Apple Fest and on the square, and so much more!!!

Mason, Texas, is known as the Gem of the Hill Country and we are striving to make this the gem of all apple festivals!!! The festival marks the annual harvest season of our 25 year old apple orchard, Son Light Apple Orchard. Mason County Apple Fest is a non-profit corporation formed in order to grant proceeds to Mason Schools.

The booth area will be located on the Historic Mason County Courthouse Lawn. The booths are expected to be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00p.m. on Saturday. Set-up for vendors will begin on Friday Sept 4 at 6:00 p.m. and will commence again at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday Sept 5.

Early Bird Special is as follows: Mason County Residents $25, Mason County Charitable Organizations $10, and Out of Town Residents $40. Regular fees are: Mason County Residents $30, Mason County Charitable Organizations $15, and Out of Town Residents $45. Limited electricity is available on a first come first serve basis. Early Bird Application deadline is Friday, August 7, 2009. The Final Application deadline is Friday, August 28, 2009.

Start making your plans to celebrate in Mason on Saturday September 5, 2009. Thats Labor Day Weekend!!! This festival is guaranteed fun for kids of ALL ages!
