Come join us to celebrate Independence Day at the City Swimming Pool on Saturday, July 4th from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Even though this date is a regular day of operations at the pool, there will be nothing normal about it. Although the day will include regular times of “free swim,” the lifeguards have some fun water games planned for kids of all ages.
To give you a hint, two of the items that will be used in the games are watermelons and coins. There will also be some prizes awarded to game winners!
The cost to swim will be the same as regular swim sessions: Children 3 & under will be charged $1 and the cost for people 4 years & over will be $2 each. Even if you do not swim, you must pay if you stay within the fenced area of the pool. The “Read & Swim” coupons will be accepted.
If you are interested in making a donation toward this event, contact Sherry at 325-805-1278 or drop your donation by the City of Mason office. Donations are also needed for a new emergency response backboard and restroom updates.
If you have not checked out the pool this year then join us on July 4th or any of the regular swim sessions. (A separate ad is in this week’s issue of the paper.)
