Washington, D.C. (May 2009)- The Commercial Bank of Mason, TX is among the most recent members to join the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).

Through membership in ICBA, The Commercial Bank joins in strengthening the voice of community banking across the nation, while gaining valuable access to programs and services that help community banks continue to provide superior service to their customers and communities.

"Each new member of ICBA further strengthens the overall political voice that protects community banks and their customers across the country, including the nation's families, homebuyers, small business owners, retirement savers, college students, family farmers and ranchers," said Camben Fine, ICBA president and CEO. "We are proud to welcome The Commercial Bank into our ICBA family and look forward to working with them to serve the community banking industry together."

ICBA is the nation's voice for community banks and the only national trade association dedicated exclusively to the community banking industry. ICBA is committed to helping community banks like The Commercial Bank thrive in today's rapidly changing financial services industry. Independent community banks are locally operated financial institutions that specialize in providing superior service to consumers, small-to-medium businesses and the agricultural history.
