The Mason Square Museum is making plans to honor its 10,000th visitor, since opening in April of 2007.
With well over 9,000 visitors to date, the Museum anticipates that sometime in August, a history buff will sign the visitor guest book.
Will the person be from Mason? Bells and whistles are possible, but the prize is a copy of Margaret Bierschwale’s book, “History of Mason County.” The 702 page, hardbound book is a highly sought after work and contains the history of Fort Mason and Mason County from pre-settlement through 1964. With a retail value of $60.00, the lucky visitor will enjoy reading about Mason’s colorful history.
