With these services, businesses can experience Internet bandwidth up to 1Gb, private network connectivity, on-line data storage, and voice over IP (Internet Protocol) telephone services. This fiber network will fully integrate with the existing WiMAX wireless network which Hill Country made available to the residents of Mason back in March.

Hill Country Telecommunications brings the best of technology to the best of Texas. With the addition of fiber optic connectivity businesses will be able to enjoy services once only reserved for larger cities.

Hill Country Telecommunications is a subsidiary of Hill Country Telephone Cooperative (Hill Country) which is the third largest telephone cooperative in the state of Texas. Hill Country serves 15 exchanges in 14 counties with over 3,500 square miles of rugged Hill Country terrain. In an effort to meet the growing bandwidth needs of its customers, Hill Country is taking aggressive strides toward building a state-of-the-art fiber optic network.
