A fun way to see who goes first.
Or draw straws.
Now there’s an easy way to make decisions.
Ah, the simple joys in life.
Or…tag, you’re it!
Things have gotten so complicated.
No wonder everybody’s on drugs.
I mean the legal, pharmaceutical, advertised-every-five-minutes-on-TV kind of drugs.
(We’ve always been on the other drugs.)
No wonder people can’t sleep.
Or stop breathing when they do.
Or just can’t breathe, period.
No wonder people are depressed.
And can’t perform.
Just watch those commercials.
We’re either stopped up or going too much.
Too fat or too flat.
Want it but can’t get it.
Or got it and can’t do anything with it.
What a mess.
It boggles the mind.
The human mind, that is.
(Show me an animal that’s bi-polar.)
There’s just too many decisions to make in life these days.
And no fun way to make them.
Paper or plastic.
Regular or decaf.
Dial-up or DSL.
Blackberry or iPhone.
This school or that job or move here or there.
Join in, drop out, run away.
So drug companies offer the solution.
The great escape.
But only temporarily.
What’s a person to do?
I don’t know about you but…
One, two, buckle my shoe.
Three, four, I’m out the door.
