Rita Service Organization met September 22, 2009 at the home of Lola Hohn with Jodie Kingston as co-hostess for a delicious salad luncheon.

The meeting was called to order by President, Pat Tucker. Minutes were read by Secretary, Carolyn Toeppich. Vice President, Joan Whirtaker gave out the new yearbooks for 2009-2010, she discussed the up coming programs for the year. Club Treasurer, C. J. Reardon and Service Treasurer, Carol Dyal gave the financial reports. Civic Chairperson, Doris Courtright reported that Nov. 6th is the date for the casserole and bake sale and the rummage sale will be in the spring. Chairperson for the cook books, Tess Geistweidt reported on the status of the cook books and pass a sign-up sheet for Der Kucken Laden workers and cooks. Tess also made a quilt for members to sign and write a message of cheer for Rita member Arleen Gammill. Meeting was adjourned.
