Hill Country Telecommunications and the Mason Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to present a Cronin Communications Event.
The “Growing Your Business With Broadband” The Role of Broadband in Rural Economic Development Seminar welcomes business, organizations and individuals to attend and learn how to take better advantage of the Internet and Broadband.
Topics to be covered are:

• Web-based advertising and promotions.
• On-line sales and service provisioning.
• Viral e-mail marketing.

Ryan Dutton, Director of Research and Training program of Cronin Communications will inform participants about the latest trends in telecom, how small business can benefit from broadband, what customers are doing with broadband, and how broadband fuels economic development.
Demonstrations of gadgets and gizmos that customers are connecting to the broadband network and how they are changing the way they do business.
He will share case studies of other small businesses that are using broadband to sustain and grow their companies. Presentation of several examples of rural companies that are using broadband to grow thier business and operate more efficiently will be shown.
A list will be provided of resources to support on-line services.
We will have an extended question and answer period and direct attendees to the Hill Country Telephone Cooperative Internet team for follow-up.
