Power Line-Part 2
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 • Posted October 14, 2009

Dear Editor:

We are deeply saddened that the anxiety over the legislatively mandated power lines has degenerated into personal attacks between neighbors.

Ultimately, we all seek the same laudable goal of minimizing the overall impact of development so as to our preserve our lands. Bill Nieman and Walter Pfluger are but two landowners out of hundreds that share their point of view. They are unpaid volunteers working in the best interest of the State of Texas and to single them out as some sort of NIMBY creeps is unwarranted, unfair and entirely inappropriate.

Let us all work together to persuade LCRA, other power companies and the PUC to ultimately build their power lines where the do the least harm to the land, the stewards of the land and the great State of Texas.
