The Mason Punchers continued their winning streak on Friday night with a shut out over the Irion County Hornets, 56-0. Coach Russell Joy allowed many of his younger players to try their hands at some key positions during the game, and those players gained valuable playing time.

As with last week's game, the statistics from Chris Habecker speak volumes about how the game went throughout the night, and we will be using those as the record of the game.

Zach Hudson scored on a six-yard run, followed by Joaquin Mejia's kick to put the score at 7-0. David Mora then scored on a 13-yard run, again capped with a Mejia kick, and the score was 14-0. Finally, late in the quarter, David Mora took a punt return in 57 yards for a touchdown, Mejia kicked the point, and the score was 21-0.
