As most of you know by now, I have been named the Lone Finalist for the Superintendent’s position at the Lago Vista Independent School District. Lago Vista is located approximately fifteen miles west of Austin and twenty seven miles east of Marble Falls. Lago Vista ISD has approximately 1300 students in grades K-12. I will be making the transition to the new position before the end of the semester.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the students, staff, parents and community members that have made the past ten years the most enjoyable professional experience imaginable. We will definitely miss the support, encouragement and prayers provided me and my family. Mason is a special place with special people.

The capacity for greatness in the area of student achievement is a part of the Mason way of life. I look forward to reading about the many accomplishments of these kids in the near and distant future. I appreciate them taking the time to teach me about the heart of a Puncher.
