County Clerk Pam Beam Announces for Re-Election
Wednesday, December 9, 2009 • Posted December 9, 2009

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of Mason County for supporting me for the first three years I have been in office as Mason County and District Clerk. It has been an honor to serve you in this position. It is amazing how fast time flies when you enjoy serving your community and it is time to formally announce that I will be running for re-election in the Republican Primaries March 2, 2010.

I would like to thank my staff, members of the courthouse staff and elected officials for their support in my first term in office. Some of the duties I am responsible for are keeping all records for Mason County, Minutes of Commissioner’s Court, filing and recording real property records, filing and recording all marks and brands, all criminal and civil cases filed in District Court, County Court, Juvenile Court and Probate. My office is responsible for notifying Grand Jury Commission, Grand Jury members and petit juries. I have recently been involved with helping to put together a Data Reporting Improvement Plan and Board. I have trained to enter all Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) information on the computer bringing our accountability ratings up to 90 % or above. I am also responsible for all Federal, State and County elections.

I look forward to serving another term as your County and District Clerk and thank you for your continued support.

Pam Beam
