Llano Fine Arts Guild Meets January 4th
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 • Posted December 23, 2009

The Llano Fine Arts Guild will feature acclaimed watercolorist Jack Moss at their meeting on January 4. Mr. Moss is a native of Texas and paints the scenes he both knows and loves. His paintings are large and glow with vivid color and contrasts. Each reflects historical accuracy, and combined with his special artistic touch, gives life to the painting. Moss has recently been painting with a rather new technique of paper treatment which allows the artist to frame a painting without the use of glass, as is customary with a watercolor painting. This is one of the many ideas that he will share with us as he demonstrates his love and mastery of the difficult medium of watercolor.

The public is invited to the demonstration which will begin at 10:00 am on January 4 and will be held at the Llano Fine Arts Gallery on 503 Bessemer. The $5.00 donation will include a pot luck luncheon at noon, after which the regular business meeting will be held. The Llano Fine Arts Guild is a non-profit organization.
