Wednesday, December 30, 2009 • Posted December 30, 2009

The Hill Country Memorial Hospital Passport 55 program has 20 seats available to see Tim McGraw at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Passport 55 offers people over the age of 55 the opportunity to travel on both one-day excursions and far-away vacations with a group.

Tim McGraw is a three-time Grammy award-winning country and western singer. He has sold over 40 million albums and has hits which include, "Please remember me," "You’re my best friend" and "You had to be there."

This one-day trip will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning when registered travelers board a bus in the hospital parking lot. They will arrive at the stock show early to browse vendor booths and exhibits. The group will enjoy a chuck wagon fajita lunch before the rodeo begins at 1 p.m.

The cost is $105 per person, which includes transportation, lunch, the show and gratuities. Anyone interested should call Linda Davis, community relations, Auxiliary and Passport 55 Director at (830) 997-1307.
