Editor's Note: Julie Nobles got this in before the deadline last week; but, we just didn't have enough room to get everything in. Enjoy it as it was intended.
Everyone attending the Peter’s Prairie Community Christmas Party last weekend was pleasantly surprised. Folks were in awe and delighted in the renovation of the neglected old schoolhouse. Recurring exclamations were "Wow!", "Awesome!", "It’s beautiful!", "I love it!" as guests (about 75) meandered about chatting with amazement and pride.
After the "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing, everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal. M/M Silas Brandenberger, M/M Sam Harper, M/M Jim Heath, M/M Don Jacques, M/M Bert Nesloney and M/M B.H. Nobles provided the delicious Texas Deadwood BBQ. M/M John Haines provided the tasty "Road Kill" Stew. Some really first-rate cooks brought plenty of scrumptious sides and delicious deserts.
Everyone that attended and contributed made the evening a success and a delight. Thank You!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with God’s blessings to our soldiers, neighbors, families and friends.
