The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, Jan. 19th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 39 members and 4 visitors in attendance. Among the visitors were 2 Mason High School Seniors, Nikita Hernandez and Brittney Schovajsa.

Lion Harold Hoerster was responsible for the program and introduced Cody Hatfield, Mason County Game Warden who spoke about Texas Games Laws. Cody gave an over-view of the game laws that affect us here in Mason County. He also told of the most common violations he saw this deer hunting season. Cody said he was only one person, but if anyone saw game laws broken or suspicioned any laws were being broken to please give him a call. He said his phone was always on and to call his home, office, or cell phone. Cody opened the discussion for questions from the club.

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 26th, at noon at Zavala's. The program chairman will be James Kingston.

The Mason Lions Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
