Mason ISD to offer GED Prep Course
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 • Posted February 10, 2010

Are you interested in getting your GED but aren’t sure you’re ready to take the test?

Mason ISD, in conjunction with the 21st Century Community Learning Centers federal grant, will offer a GED preparation course beginning Tuesday, February 16th. Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 and Sundays from 10:30 to 12:30 in the Elementary School computer lab. (Enter through the Elementary library).

This course is entirely self-paced, allowing students to start at any time. Developed by EdOptions, it is an on-line, individually tailored preparation course to get you ready to take the GED test.

If you have a child in the ACE (formerly After the Bell) program, the course is totally free! For all others, the cost for this course is $51.00 — $50 for the class and $1 for the background check that is required for adults to use Mason ISD facilities.

For more information or to let us know you are coming, please contact Julia Gonzales (ACE Program Manager) or Jane Vargas (Parent Liaison) at 347-1122 ext 240.
