Financial Aid Advisors to Present Information on Feb. 23

Texas Tech University at Fredericksburg and the Hill Country University Center will present an information session on navigating the College Financial Aid process on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Fredericksburg High School Library at 5:30 p.m. Financial aid specialists from Texas Tech University and Austin Community College will be the speakers. Students planning to attend any college and parents are invited to attend. A session in Spanish will also be held.

Additional information on how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form will be presented. All students applying for college financial aid must complete the FAFSA forms to determine eligibility.

The session is sponsored by the Hill Country University Center with its partners Texas Tech University at Fredericksburg, Austin Community College, and Concordia University. Local advisors from these colleges will also present information and answer questions about degree programs available in Fredericksburg.

Austin Community College will also have their Mobile Go Van there with computers set up for students to work on their FAFSA and college applications. Bi-lingual advisors will be available to assist participants.
