Wanda was born in Mason on June 13, 1938, to Manuel Franklin Beam and Alma Meredith Beam. She attended school in Mason. She married Charles Edward White and he preceded her in death in 1979. For the last eight years Wanda lived in Troy, Texas. She liked to garden and loved to grow roses. In her spare time she enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
Wanda Beam White passed away on Wednesday, February 9, at the age of 71. Mrs. White is survived by her children Glowanda Jean White McClaine and husband Billy Wayne of Palestine , Harold Arthur White of Angleton, Charles Edward White Jr. of Troy and Barbara Ann White Spradlin and husband Quentin Joseph of Paintsville , Kentucky . She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Norma Lee Beam Bailey and husband Richard of Junction, Betty Louann Beam Robertson and husband J.R. of San Saba, Wilton M. Beam and wife Joyce of Wichita Falls, Mae Beam Holley of Longview and Angie Beam Riffe of Livingston, 13 grandchildren: Christopher White, Joseph White, Stacy Bauer, Jonathan Bauer, Charles White, Jason Burt, Samuel Burt, Zane Burt, Douglas White, Justin White, Aaron White, Jessica White and Nicholas White, 10 great-grandchildren: Cali Alexis, Maegan Jayde, Derik Boston, Deacon Edward, Brylea Snow, Mason Christopher, Desiree Elaine, Alexander Logan, Brody and Corbin and two sisters-in-law Judy Beam of Mason and Phyllis Beam of Killeen, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Franklin Beam and Alma Amandabell Meredith Beam and the following brothers: Billy Hayes Beam, Gordon Ray Beam, Franklin Manuel Beam, Kerman Glen Beam and Beauford Albert Beam.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, February 17, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cavness Cemetery with Lavonne Walthal officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Roger Holley, Roy Morris, Tracy Coats, John Beam, Joe Beam and Michael Beam. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Beam, Mike Beam, Wilton Beam and John Bailey.
