Please come and join us on March 23rd from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Miss Alma’s Bed and Breakfast (located at 505 San Antonio Street) for the 2009 Volunteer Appreciation and the 2010 Kick Off Party for the Mason County AppleFest. This is a time for us to offer our thanks for those who volunteered their time last year to make the 2009 Mason County AppleFest a huge success. We are also looking for volunteers to help with this year’s event so now is the time to sign up and decide which committee or event you wish to be a part of!
In order for the AppleFest to be a successful event, we rely on Sponsorships from businesses and individuals as well as volunteers from the community to help with each of the events. So if you are interested in participating as a sponsor or as a volunteer, we welcome you aboard.
The 2010 AppleFest will be held on the Courthouse Lawn here in Mason on Saturday, September 4th so be sure to mark your calendars!
The AppleFest is a family event with a focus on children. This year, the Mason County AppleFest will once again feature foods made from apples, an arts and crafts fair, games, contests and demonstrations. There will also be music all day long and this year we have plans on adding a "Mason’s Got Talent" Contest featuring many talented people from our community! Also, we are proud to announce that this year the Mason County AppleFest will be heading up the Mason County Arts & Crafts Fair on Round Up Weekend! Doreen Cardenas has been in search of someone to turn this event over to and found the Mason County AppleFest willing to accept that endeavor!
The event committee for 2010 consists of Don Durflinger (347-1808) & Pattie Allen (347-4977) as co-chairs of the event and Ashley Clement (805-1277) serving as our Event Coordinator. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to be a part of the 2010 Mason County AppleFest or with any questions you may have.
We hope to have your support in making the 2010 Mason County AppleFest another successful event! See you March 23rd at the AppleFest Party!
