The Mason County Historical Society will be having a fundraiser on Friday, March 12 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the Courthouse Square. Join us for a delicious BarBQ lunch with all the trimmings for a suggested donation of just $8 a plate. Cakes and other desserts will also be available for purchase.
Funds collected will be used for restoration efforts at Ft. Mason. If you haven’t been "up on the hill" lately, you’re missing all the wonderful work being done to restore and recreate Fort Mason as a tourist destination and integral part of area civic celebrations.
Major upgrades to the Fort had not been done for a number of years until recently when a renewed interest and available funds came together to get efforts underway. Planned work still outstrips available funding, so your support of these efforts is much appreciated.
So, join us for a wonderful lunch and fellowship with fellow Masonites. And while you’re at it, take a drive up the hill and see what your support is helping us to do!
