I spent the last part of last week, and most of the weekend, finishing up the Spring Visitors' Guide. I would have been happier if the flowers had burst forth just one week earlier for my purposes; but, other than that, I think you'll enjoy seeing the articles and photos we were able to put together.
Of course, all that focused activity meant that I didn't even get to start working on stories and articles for this week's paper until Monday morning, and it appears to be a VERY busy week coming up, as I had lots of articles to typeset, and lots of pictures to prepare for this issue. Unfortunately, that meant that the two feature stories I've been working on concerning Texas, Queensland, Australia; and the article about Mason's own Congressional Medal WASP recipient will have to wait one more week.
My apologies to the folks who've been waiting so patiently on those two articles. I hope I do them justice when we get them in next week.
All the push to get out the Spring Guide also means that I'm out of words. They're gone. Trying to put anything into SUBJECT : VERB : OBJECT order simply escapes me, so I'll let my grey matter rest for one week, and try to perform up to standards next week.
And you'll enjoy the break!
It’s all just my opinion.
