FAAHC Gala and Art show to feature The Verniers of Fredericksburg!

A piano trio composed of a mother and her two daughters(The Verniers’) will entertain you with lovely music while you enjoy the artwork of members of the Fine Arts Association of the Hill country. The 3rd Annual Gala and Art Show will be held Friday, April 30th, 2010, at the Warehouse, located in front of the Peanut Mill Restaurant on Hwy. 87 North.

Not only will you be entertained with great art and great music, but also great food under the direction of Carol and Craig Conlee. You don’t want to miss this elegant evening that begins at 6 p.m. New this year, is a Silent Auction featuring outstanding pieces from some well known Texas artists: potter, Linda Nowell of New Braunfels; our own Kyle Martin of Mason; Warren Taylor, head of the Art Department of Midland College, Midland; Ginger Test , watercolor artist from Novice, Texas and a one-night stay at the 7F Lodge in College Station, Texas.

The money from this Silent Auction will go to our Scholarship fund which gives a $1000.00 scholarship to a student representing the four counties which make up the FAAHC – Kimble, Mason, Menard and McCulloch. Tickets will be available April 7th, 2010 at the Chamber of Commerce and Market Square in Mason, Texas.

The cost of the ticket is $15 per adult. GREAT ART, GREAT MUSIC and GREAT FOOD!!!!
