Wednesday, April 7, 2010 • Posted April 7, 2010

Ginger Test of Novice, Texas, will again hold a Wildflower Watercolor Workshop on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2010. This is the 3rd Annual Spring workshop to be held in Mason, Texas.

The workshop runs from 9 to 4 daily, located at the Granite Rock B&B, 12 miles northeast of Mason. In addition to teaching in Mason, Ginger holds watercolor workshops in South Fork, Colorado, the Davis Mountains and The Texas Panhandle. She teaches weekly classes in Abilene and San Angelo. In 2009, she along with two other artists had a show at the Abilene Civic Center. She has put on demonstrations for the Stars of Texas Show in Brownwood, The Brazos West Art Association in Haskell, and in May 2010 will do a demo for the Comanche Art Association. Also, in May of 2010, she will be a Guest Artist for the San Angelo Art Walk.

Ginger is a avid photographer and gathers her inspiration from nature. She immerses herself in her paintings and they reflect her love of color and design.

Granite Rock B&B will again provide breakfast and lunch for the workshop. Ginger’s workshops have become so popular that students sign up a year in advance. This year’s workshop is no exception. The class is limited to 15 students and there is one position available. If interested, please contact Ginger Test, 325-723-2035 or Martha Kothmann, Granite Rock B&B, 325-258-4624. This should be an outstanding year for painting wildflowers!!!
