FAAHC to Feature a Wide Variety of Art during 3rd Annual Gala and Art Show

The Fine Arts Association of the Hill country will sponsor its 3rd Annual Gala and Art Show on Friday, April 30th, at the Warehouse, located on Hwy. 87, directly in front of the Peanut Mill Restaurant. This elegant evening begins at 6 p.m. You will be treated to the most amazing art from paintings to photography, fibers to sculpture, ceramics to jewelry and a few surprises to boot!!

The FAAHC members have been working diligently all year to bring their special talents to this venue. You can expect to cast your eyes on everything from traditional Bluebonnet paintings by Sue Kaan; flowers by Cindy McCarn and Dana Butler; colorful photography by Willeda Rea and Dr. Robin Clark; jewelry by Cindy Spencer, Toni Hurlbut, and Nan Loeffler(who also has a horse sculpture in the show); European Cathedrals by Al Dreyer; ranch scenes by Debbie Geistweidt; and, well, I don’t want to give it all away.

The evening will be filled with outstanding art, great music and delicious food. Tickets are $15 per adult and are available at the Mason Chamber of Commerce and Market Square. The Silent Auction will feature several well known Texas artist including Boerne jewelry artist, Julie Jarvis. Two Texas A&M (Gig’em Aggies), football tickets for the 2010 season( located on the 40 yard line), in the Foundation Section , are part of the Silent Auction as well. Come out for a wonderful evening and SUPPORT the ARTS!!!!!!
