The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, April 13th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 35 members and 1 visitor in attendance.

Lion Ted Smith was responsible for the program and in the joy of welcoming his first grandchild on Monday, forgot to call and remind his program person, so they did not show for the meeting. Ted told us about the "young lady" but I can not remember the details, except that she was beautiful and mother and daughter were doing fine. Congratulations to TED!

The club's next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 20th, at noon at Zavala's.

The Mason Lions has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also, please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
