This is the role of a court appointed special advocate, or CASA. Bluebonnet CASA advocacy group provides a resource person for children going through the difficulties associated with divorce or other domestic trauma.

To honor and observe April as National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, the Voca Quilt Club had a show April 17. Proceeds benefited Bluebonnet CASA, which serves Mason, McCulloch, Menard and Kimble counties. There was a $3 admission and prizes were awarded by people’s choice.
