Wednesday, April 28, 2010 • Posted April 28, 2010

On Monday, the Chamber of Commerce held a formal ribbon cutting for it's newest member, Awe Shoot Photography, owned by Bob Etter. Etter has provided numerous photos to the Mason County News over the last two years, and also provides portrait services and special commissions.

"I’m Bob Etter. I’ve enjoyed a love of photography and art all of my life.

"In 1994 my wife and I moved from the Rio Grande Valley to Mason.

"Living and working in the Hill Country reawakened my passion to record the beautiful landscapes and character of our Texas.

"Being born and raised a Texan, I have a passion for scenes of, about and from our great Lone Star State. Flowers, landscapes, cowboys, wide open spaces and the people.

"Therefore I always prefer natural light and outdoor settings for the photographs and portraits I am commissioned to create.

"In 2009 I decided to start Awe Shoot Photography to expand my horizons and create lasting memories for those that want a future reminder of their past.

"I am available for senior portraits, family portraits, engagement photos, sports photos (rodeo, football, tennis, basketball), special occasions, landscapes and wild life.

"I am a member of the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country (FAAHC), and will be exhibiting three of my works at the Gala Art Show and Sale. This will be at the Old Peanut Mill Warehouse, Friday the 30th of April from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

"My telephone number is 325-347-8230.

"For more information and examples of my work, visit my websites at and, where you can also purchase prints.

"You can e-mail me at"
