Fundraiser for Mick Kissko
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 • Posted April 28, 2010

As many of you already know, Libby Lyles Kissko’s husband ( and Lesli’s dad), Mick, has recently been diagnosed with a rare cancer—squamous cell carcinoma—in the throat area. Mick’s income is based on commission and is voice- related through telephone sales. Due to the harsh side effects of the radiation treatments that he is undergoing, Mick will not be able to work for an indefinite period of time.

He and Libby will have to stay in Houston for the next six or seven weeks while he receives his treatments at M.D. Anderson.

In order to help defray costs for the Kissko family, we need your help! We are going to be having a fundraiser for Mick and his family on May 16th, at St. Ambrose Hall here in Wall. We will be having a hamburger lunch and silent auction from 10:30 to 1:30. Your help with this fundraiser for this wonderful family in their time of need is very welcome and will be greatly appreciated! Contributions in the form of money, time, and/or silent auction items would be greatly appreciated!

For more information call Hariece Holik at 234-1763 (or 651-4790), Wanda Holik at 656-9341, or Kathy Braden at 651-7522 (Wall Elementary). A sign-up list for volunteers and/or serving times, etc. will be available soon.
