Gee, I’ve just spent a "WIENDERFUL" weekend at the Wiener Dog Races! I mostly spoke only the, AHHHHHHHH’S, OHHHHHHH’S, and the "OH MY’S!" This was the 13th Anniversary of the Buda Wiener Dog Races and my first year to get to go to them! I had a BLAST.
There were Wiener Dogs everywhere! Every color, every size and young ones and old fellows. Some were dressed up in TO-TO skirts! Of course there were other breeds there, too! I got a lot of puppy kisses. Some would just come to me. Shannon said, "You’re a magnet to dogs!"
The names of the Doxie’s were precious! Hank Jr., Logan, Fred, Charlie, Fritz, etc.. However, there were no EARL’S or DOZER’S!!!! Seems, Mason Doxie’s are really special! An X Mason Doxie, my granddog, "Mason’s Dixie Bell" and daughter (Great granddog, "MILLIE," raced. Dixie Bell is MeMaw's Doxie and I participated in her race. She came in 2nd in the first race, but lost in the quarter final races. Millie, was scared and just didn’t know what to think of all of the going ons!
I got to see two baseball games while with the kids. Gee, I had a full weekend! Z didn’t participate in the weekend of DOGS, DOGS AND MORE DOGS. Guess, he needs to find a Blood Hound Howling Contest for Cousin Louie. That, perhaps would be more his style.
P.S. Say, PUPPIES AND SHOPPING AND SEE JANE GO, SEE Z STAY HOME!
