The Mason FFA Chapter was represented by six members the Hill District FFA Banquet in Comfort, Texas, on May 6, 2010. The annual event recognizes FFA Chapters in the district for their accomplishments during the 2009-2010 school year. In addition, Degree Checks, Public Speaking and Talent contest are also held.
Mason FFA competed in two public speaking events with both contestants advancing to the Area VII round of competition on Wednesday, May 19,2010 in Seguin, Texas. Ayla Reyes placed second in Senior Prepared Public Speaking and Kambrey Hudson placed first in Soil and Water Stewardship Public Speaking. Mason FFA also competed in the talent competition with Alyssa Herrera taking top honors. She will also perform at Area. Reyes was elected to serve as the Hill District FFA Reporter for 2010-2011.
